Mayon Volcano, Perfect Cone-shaped Volcano
Mayon Volcano is the most active volcano in the Philippines. It is located in Legazpi City in the province of Albay. This 2,463 metres volcano is very popular because of it's near perfect cone shape. It was a candidate of the New Seven Wonders of the World and is consider as the world's most perfectly formed volcano.

n has always fascinated me as a kid.. During my actual tour to Legaspi City nestled at the foot of Mayor Volcano, i can't help but be awed by its perfect shape and its beauty.. It is most beautiful the townsfolk there say at night when its crater found at its summit reflects the golden light from the magma forming in its crater as it nears an eruption.. see it yourself
